“Do you mind—if we get a girl—that we call her Smilla, like your daughter?”

“What?”

“I like the name. I have told you that.”

“Yeah, but …”

“So you don’t mind?”

“I don’t know. No, I guess not.”

“I am so happy. Thanks.”

“Why don’t you find your own name?”

“Because I love you.”

“What has that to do with my daughter?”

“I love you because you picked a cool name.”

“Maybe I do mind.”

“Now it’s too late.”

“Why?”

“I can’t change my mind.”
